Being invited in to other people’s lives is such an honor, and when I am invited into their love story by being a part of their wedding they become planted in my heart. I may never cross their paths for years after, but they are a part of my best memories.
When Alissa and Sean asked my to simply coordinate their ceremony and make sure their reception set up was complete I had no idea how their day would touch on my heart strings. Having witnessed so many relationships you become astute to the ones that will stand the test of time, and this one will. The tender words, the love filled tears, the joy on their faces, and the way the children responded to their wedding day. It was all there.
Alissa planned thoughful details for the ceremony as well as for their reception. Coming alongside to add in all the finishing touches to decorations, and to make sure that the moments they wanted captured were set up as planned was a joy to be able to do for them.
